Career
In 2004, an extraordinary effort by Chuck Seitsinger Racing landed Chuck Seitsinger the Rookie of the Year honors in the NOPI Drag Racing Association. Coming into an established group of competitors in the Nitrous Express Pro 4 Cylinder class, it would have seemed unlikely that Chuck would have been so successful in his first year of competition.
Seitsinger is a racer that all fans can associate with, running a turbo Civic to its maximum on every pass. During the course of the 2004 year they routinely rebuilt the car between rounds and between races constantly improving their performances landing themselves in the final round of eliminations, in the final event of 2004 for the championship against closest rival Gary Gardella. It would be the upset of the year, viewed by thousands in the stands at the Texas Motorplex where Chuck Seitsinger cuts a .008 light and never looked back, taking the event win, the 2004 Nitrous Express P/4 Xbox cup Championship and the 2004 NDRA Rookie of the Year honors.
